Happy Birthday to My BIG Jacob.

My handsome little boy turned six. He is getting so big. Jacob got to decorate his cake for the first time. That was AWESOME!

Sabrina and Clara made the decoration.
We had lots of fun little robot party favors. The chocolate suckers were by far the favorite.

Clara made a robot puzzle for Jacob that was hidden in a pocket on the robot decoration. It was so creative!

We opened a few presents in the morning so that Jacob could entertain himself while waiting for the party.

Sabrina made Robot drinks for everyone!
 We had Robot Races.

 Some of our favorite friends!
 Birthday Boy! I love you!

 Love that face!

Clara made Jacob a book that contained only words he could read! It was so very cute!

The Chocolate Suckers! Yum! Wish we had some left over. They were tasty.

The kids were scared of the Hex Bugs. You cannot really tell but Jacob is terrified of the red one and runs backwards anytime it comes near him.

Happy Birthday Jacob! A few favorites of Jacob right now are:
Books: The Notebook of Doom
Games: Wii-Wii Party
Uno
Activities: Foosball with Dad, Fixing the car with Dad, Basically anything with Dad
TV Show-Studio C (shoulder Angel), Ninjago, and Dr. Who
LEGOS - Usually Ninjago but lately he has started playing with the Lego City Legos

Some of my favorite milestones with Jacob: Watching him learn to read. He sometimes reads little books to Kate. He can be the best little helper when he sees someone needs it. He has been known to help me clean the whole main floor super fast just because he wanted to be nice to me.  He has a great sense of humor.

Love you Jacob!

Happy Valentines Day 2014

I love my kids :) I love my Greg. With all of them around me we had the greatest Valentines Day. It was different this year. It seemed to last all week long! First the making of the boxes.
Then we feed the missionaries our  annual dinner a few days before valentines day. The girls made the rolls! They were so beautiful!

Of course sugar cookies for everyone! My favorite tradition.
For Valentines Day we took the kids to Bismarck and stayed over night at the hotel. We had a blast swimming...shopping...and our wonderful Sam's Club trip :)

Greg and I didn't really get our valentine date but we had fun with everyone. So blessed to have all these beautiful loves in our life.

Character Assembly and CreepyLegos.

This Month both girls were awarded certificates for being great examples of responsibility in their class. Clara also wrote a great letter of how Sabrina is the most responsible dperson she knows. It was so super cute. I posted a video of it on facebook. Here are a few pictures from the assembly.

Jacob wanted to share his character counts certificate from the month before.

Clara made a very creepy lego sets. It was super creative...

P.s. here is a copy of Clara's letter!

A nice winter day

This winter has been an odd winter. We had a super cold beginning and a some nice warmer days in the middle...wonder what the end will bring! Perhaps another polar vortex or enough snow to sled? Today was one of the better days. The temp. reached 40 so we went and celebrated by taking a quick trip to Lake Richmond to enjoy nature...outdoors...some time with Greg...and the kids.
Greg standing by the UGLY tree. Isn't he amazingly handsome.
Sweet Sabrina. She was hilarious today. She came up with this idea to put her gloves on a stick and them pretend to touch peoples heads. All the kids loved it!
The coloring was beautiful even though it was winter the fields still seemed to glow.
 Cute Kate and Momma.
 Funny Brina's ticklers.
Can you see Jacob? He was always in the lead enjoying making designs with his stick.
 Cute. Cute. Cute.

Happy Winter...
