Haircuts and odds and ends

This picture is to post to document a miracle occurring at our house. Jacob is eating a SANDWICH. Made with BREAD...it only contains BACON...but hey you got to start somewhere.

We got a selfie stick from Alec this year for Christmas the kids had fun figuring it out. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from it.

What do we do in the morning before school starts? Clara sits in the kitchen in all her snow gear reading...

Jacob plays the piano waiting for the clock to tick down.
Clara has really learned to take good care of her room and keep it clean. Everything is so organized and cozy. Here is her current arrangement on her desk. She does not like me taking pictures of her...so you get her surprised face. I just think it is so cute how she is so sweet and careful with everything. She looked so cozy working at her desk.

Here is her jewelry yard tree she made.
Little miss Kate wanted a nighttime picture too.

 Silly bedtime dancing...

Flowers to make my cold january brighter.
and my favorite thing of all! HAIRCUTS!!!!

Greg's Office

I haven't been to Greg's office in a few months and was excited to see how much of his personality and happy memories are shown in the different decorations.
His magic eight ball from Georgia and the light bulb robot from a cool mom and pop shop the kids and I found in Sault St. Marie
Kids artwork. I had to take down some of it. He had so many pictures from the kids you couldn't focus on any of it.
I LOVE his clock. He picked this out after his PHD was complete. The clock has eyes and a tail that move each second. Awesome.   Even the old school telephone fits his personality.

Old school announcing microphone that works...Alexa...and a book of Mormon.

Sweet posters...

Chinese Posters

and some family photos...
No place would be complete without a bulldog statue...
Movie buff trophies and a PhD hat.
Yep...Greg to the T. I wish we had a man cave in the house. I wonder what he would collect and show off there.

Happy New Year 2017

We rang in the new year in Eureka South Dakota this year. We played games, ate good food, and retired to our bed at a early 10:00 so we could make the  long drive to church in the morning. Here are a few picture highlights.
