Jacob's Dreams!

This is probably my favorite homework assignment from Jacob all year!

I have a dream that one day I will be a missionary and teach other people about Jesus.

I have a dream that one day my family will get along more. We are running out of money.

I have a dream that one day my school will get more homework. The school will be clean.

I have a dream one day my world will be safe. No one will not litter. Everyone will pick up garbage.

The Many Faces of Kate

Taking pictures of Kate is getting more difficult. Here sense of humor is always showing. Here is an example of a photo shoot today. I just wanted a smile!

I just cannot believe how big she is getting. I love spending my every day with her. I only have 1 1/2 more years before she goes to school and I am going to love every minute of it.

School Projects...

I might be weird but I LOVE school projects. Especially at the elementary level. This was one of my favorites. I love the poster and we had a blast making it together.
Jacob is grumping because someone put purple sprinkles on his eating 100 donuts picture.
He had so many cute things. He would love 100 pieces of homework, he would hate 100 calendars, In 100 years he will be dead. :)

A Week In Review With My Littles

I am not liking the way my phone posts the pictures on the blog. Too many posts. I am going to combine all the ones from the last week. Here they are in reverse order:

Tuesday: Katherine had a traumatic afternoon. She got her first paper cut while reading. I had forgotten how bad paper cuts hurt! I got lots snuggles and she had lots and lots of tears.

Monday: I love radiators! Especially on super cold days! This morning Kate warmed herself on the radiators while the kids got ready for school. So toasty.

Sunday: I got serenaded by the kids. The song went something like this Snombies is in the chimney chimney chimney, snombies is in the chimney listen quick! This is the song the littles  just serenade me with :) I love these cute kids!

Friday: Sometimes the best place to read is the squishy place.

Tuesday: Due to an error on the YMCA schedule my workout didn't happen today. Instead we went and got donuts ;) fair trade...right?

Sunday: I don't know what made me think I could do it but yesterday I cut Kate's Hair. Why oh why would I cut the beautiful golden hair? I think I am tired of the snarls and crying in the morning. I put layers in it and that was kind of weird but I knew I could never cut it straight. She cried the entire time. She thought I would cut it like Jacob's hair. Then she thought it would change colors like in tangled and be brown instead of golden. If you see Kate's Hair cut don't mention it to me! I m terrified of hearing that it looks awful! She is beautiful no matter what I do to her hair!

The Mayo Clinic & Fun Cousins!

Someday I have a mobile post that will show up on the Mayo Clinic. It has been in the process of publishing for 6 days...so don't hold your breath waiting. Until then...here are a few other pictures from the mayo. I guess to begin I will show a few pictures of us playing at Alan's house. We had the privilege of visiting Alan and family! They were gracious hosts and we enjoyed playing cards with sweet Nora.

Here we are waiting for the shuttle before giong to the Mayo Clinic...What cute kids!
The Mayo Clinic is  a pretty awesome place. The mission of providing top notch health care has been accomplished. They are amazing. The building is amazing. We sent the kids exploring and they came back totally appalled at finding a naked guy on the wall. In truth he isn't naked. He has a leaf. The artist (as with all the artwork at the mayo) has a story. He was a survivor of the Holocaust. His artwork is all over the mayo clinic.
Here is Alan giving us a fantastic tour!

Below is a picture of Clara and Greg enjoying an amazing window. Lol...they are so funny.

The Children's Clinic had beautiful ceilings.
The kids LOVED that they had drinking fountains for all sizes.
There was a lot of intricate work. These are amazing doors. They are just beautiful. They close the doors when there is a reason for mourning. For example when an airplane crashed caring Mayo Doctors the doors where shut.
This is from inside the plummer building. I love the plummer building.
Here are a few shots of the library. It was beautiful. Alan described it as a Harry Potter type library. I would have to agree!

Just for kicks here is a great picture of the kids sleeping in the hotel. We had a great time but nights were welcome. It was a long time to be in a hotel when the weather was snowy. BOY WAS IT SNOWY! One night we had to push the car into the parking lot! We bought new tires the next day to avoid a repeat of that scenario!
