Snow! Snow! Snow!

This year our theme song seems to be from white christmas.



We are singing it constantly. Perhaps it is because singing a happy snow song makes it okay that we started the freezing winter early in December.  It all started when we went to a beautiful theater and watched White Christmas with the kids.

 He was happy despite his charming smile.

Back to snow...We have had so many days with temperatures that don't climb above zero. In fact tonight the low is -28. Seriously? We had two weeks where the kids did not go to recess. The pictures below were taken on a day we decided to brave the -3 with a windchill of -20 to build a snow tunnel. Burr.

The good news is the cold doesn't bother Greg at all. He just bundles up and walks to work...me I am struggling with it this year. I hate going outside and frequently sit in front of the fireplace.
