We have been waiting and waiting for Winter and finally it is here! Our first few snows were a little wimpy. The kids still had a blast but they were wimpy.
Our Storm today was much better! It is coming down at a beautiful rate :) I am bundled up on the couch with Jacob watching it flutter to the ground. It is beautiful. Living without snow has really helped me to appreciate it. I am even willing to put up with the cold weather that comes with it. I do believe this last week we felt the lowest temp. we have ever felt. It was -11 with a wind chill near -30. It was surprisingly okay. Nothing you want to stand outside in for too long but you didn't die walking to the car.
Jacob has had the hardest time with the cold. He says it makes his eyes cold. I finally bought him so really good winter boots and some gloves that have the thinsulate (I think that it what it is called) and now he will play out for about 15 minutes instead of 3.
The girls are in Heaven. They love the snow. Especially when there is a daddy monster to play with.
While I was taking that picture of Clara she was attacked by the big Daddy monster.
For some reason one of the greatest things about snow is eating it. I recall doing that as a child but now I think it is gross.
Just so you know it is possible to build a snowman in SD. Or at least a snow blob. The snow here is a very fine consistency. Powder. Simply Powder.
And here is the man who makes our life so much fun :) Isn't he the greatest? I just love him!
While we were waiting for the snow to come we played some board games with the kids. We discovered it is a skill that we need to work on. Turn taking and losing happy.
I have been trying to get some good ballet pictures of Sabrina & Clara. So far the attempts haven't been so great. I have to take them through the observation glass that is tinted. Here are the two I got of Sabrina that are almost not blurry. She loves ballet and is so very graceful and attentive in her class. I just cannot take my eyes of her. I am going to try again this week and see if I can do a better job and get a few of Clara!
:) That is all for now! I hope you day is as good as mine! I am so blessed to have these 3 little beauties to spend time with each day....and of course the daddy monster. He takes good care of me.

I love all the pictures! I love how happy you are there! Sabrina looks so lovely in the ballet pics. I'm glad she and Clara are taking classes. I recently signed up Savannah for real ballet too. :D
Can't wait for some more photos of Sabrina and Clara in ballet.
Love those girls.
