Jacob turned 3!
The cake was probably my favorite cake I have ever made. I found it here. Clara helped me make it this morning while Jacob was gone to the hardware store with daddy.
When it came to Jacob eating the cake I just had to take a picture.
He just couldn't leave the toys alone long enough to eat :)
Jacob got to pick his favorite meal for dinner. Chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. Yum.
The kids enjoyed driving the trucks around the table in between bites of food.
Being the only boy in our family I think Jacob might be a bit spoiled when it comes to presents. Here are a few still pictures followed by a few select videos.
Car Slippers!
A Train Set!
Each kid also got a little tent to play in. Don't they look happy!
Okay...tons of video. What can I say? A video is worth a thousand words. I love how he yells, "Mommy! Open it!" and then kicks the present to me in the first video.
Yes! We gladly do crack (bum crack that is) at our house. Hopefully you all enjoy seeing it in the following video.
Happy Birthday to my sweet little Jacob. We are so glad to have your happy spirit in our home! Thank you to everyone for the wonderful gifts. He is one lucky little boy!

Love the cake! Looks like you had a fun day. Sorry I forgot to put the batteries in the package we sent.
I laughed when I saw the inside of the cake! LOL
Yes, Rob, Misty did it right to the inside of the cake!Very clever.
I am SO copying that cake idea for my boy's 3rd birthday in April - he got very excited when I showed him! Can you email me some helpful details of how to pull it off? hansenmma@yahoo.com Like: where did you find candy rocks, what kind of cookies did you crush, where did you find that cool train set and the trucks for the cake and stuff like that? Thanks!
Hi Misty, there is this little girl that attends my parents ward, she looks like she could be Sabrina's twin. Every time I see her I think of your cute family. So, I had to come and check out your blog, it's been to long. The cake is amazing, your kids are so cute and grown up and I can't wait to see #4. I hope all goes well for you and baby.
