Odds & Ends of February

Jacob's 3 year old well check was...interesting.

Jacob cried or whined  the entire time. Totally embarrassing. I am sad to say that one ear tube fell out and the other ear tube is well on its way out. :( Hopefully he has grown enough since July to make it okay. 7 Months? They were supposed to stay in until the doc removed them! Really? I don't want to repeat the surgery so here is to hoping that we won't have to... Jacob is still below the 0 percentile on weight. Well below at only 24 pounds.  His height is only in the 38 percentile. I wonder if baby number 4 will out weigh him soon.

Speaking of baby number 4....it is a naughty little baby. All my facebook friends have heard this already but I will repeat it for the blog. I got another ultrasound on Thursday and baby decided to put it's hands in the crotch area...nothing to be seen. The doctor shook my belly around quite a bit and tried again. This time the baby put it's feet there and would not move them. It is determined that this baby will be a surprise. Twenty Days left and I am ready. So ready. So swollen. So ready. So tired of trying to be good and sit with my feet up like the doctor wants... I told Greg that today would be the day but no contractions yet...maybe it won't be after all. The baby is already 7 pounds so I see no reason to wait 20 more days. I am just fine with delivering a 7 lb baby not an 8 1/2 pound one.  We took the kids on a tour of the baby center at the hospital a few weeks ago and found out a few things. 1- they average 1-2 patients (not deliveries) a day! 2- Jacob believes that they are going to shoot the baby out of my belly. He is very vocal about this point and had many people laughing as we walked down the maternity halls.

Speaking of baby and hospitals we played operation and I would have to say that playing operation with my littles has turned out to be....a terrifying experience! They are so funny!

We also made a beautiful Crystal Chandelier that is now decorating the upstairs hallway.

A few odds and Ends:

Jacob and Clara in the morning

Sabrina's picture of daddy.
 Sleepover in the tents.
Funny Comments:

Jacob (while watching a movie that had some men sitting on the porch drinking beer at night) "Oh! Mommy!  So that is what we do. We sit outside in the dark and drink. Yea! That sounds like fun!" (Might have to do a better job editing the video choice around here.

Sabrina, "Mom, that outfit looks terrible on you your belly is just sticking out so far." I change and come out in a different outfit, "No that one doesn't look good either." I change and come out in a different outfit. "Maybe you should just wear a jacket and zip it up."

Sabrina while sitting in church turns to me and says really loud, "Mom, I thought you were naked."  I have no idea what she was trying to say but I laughed so hard I am sure I disrupted church.

As for Clara I can't think of any silly thing she has said but she has been a good help to me. She loves to snuggle and has turned into quite the little artist. She draws amazing horses and people now.  She is sweet to the core and tries so hard to please me all the time. I am very proud of her hard work. She has taken it upon herself to learn to write her numbers correctly and even writes some small sentences phonetically.

Well that is all for now. Hopefully the next post includes a baby...I can assure you I will not be posting a picture of me. That is the joy of living this far from my loved ones. You don't have to see me in my elephant stage. Your imagination should give you a prettier picture :)

Good luck with only 20 days left! And I hope for your sake you go early. I don't blameyou for not wanting to deliver an 8 1/2 pounder.

I have to tell you--the first time I looked at the blog, I thought Greg's arms were gray. I couldn't figure out why he had boxes for fingers. When I maximized it, I realized his arms were drawn in pencil. Lol
