The Dentist!

I am so excited to have a private blog. I feel like I can now post what I want to without giving too much information to those who don't need it. For example I can say that in 9 days my oldest daugther is turning 8! In 2 days my mother & father are coming for a week! In 6ish days my mother & father in law are coming! And best of all on August 18, 2012 my baby girl is getting baptized.

So...what I really want to blog about. Today I took Jacob to the pediatric dentist. It turned out to be one of my favorite days. For his prize he picked out a special ring for his mother. He gave it to me with the sweetest smile and said, "Promise me mom to wear this forever and always. It is because I love you."

That really made up for the fact that my regular dentist told me I had to drive Jacob to a pediatric dentist 1 1/2 hours away because he had four cavities that needed filled and she refuses to work on kids under 12. It made it better that after that drive the pediatric dentist found that Jacob not only had NO cavities but the dentists fluoride treatment hadn't worked...granted they did a second fluoride treatment for free. I left with a bill for another set of X-rays, a bill for a second dental exam, a referral for a new dentist and a nice little ring on my finger from Jacob.
