Welcome 2014!

We celebrated with a bang. We were supposed to go to a party but because Greg had gotten sick during the night we decided to stay home and not share our germs. I put together a quick little party that involved popping confetti filled balloons. Each balloon had a different activity that we were going to do.

It was a bit scary popping the balloons. Along with the loud bang the  confetti comes shooting out in all directions when you pop it.

 See the toothpick piercing the balloon. That just makes me cringe!

 We danced.

 Katherine had a cool little snow angel dance that she loved to do with everyone.

 and toasted the new year at 10:00!

Happy New Year 2014! The kids also made great new years resolutions with us. Jacob wants to work on not getting upset when he looses a game. Sabrina wants to practice the piano everyday. Clara wants to eat more sugar. I want to lose the baby weight and Greg wants to exercise  regularly.
