The Butterfly House & The Marine Cove

The Marine Cove & Butterfly house was the last place we visited. One fun fact about it was that the sister missionaries were serving there when we went. It was fun to see them. At the marine cove we got to pet sharks and sting rays. They were really deep in the water. Greg had to get his shirt wet to wake up the sting rays. Clara was more than willing to touch them...everyone else a little more hesitant. Katherine would put her hand in the water and get all excited because she touched a sting ray even though it was clearly just water.
I also loved the little tank inside the fish tank...therefore, you get a picture of each child enjoying it.

The Butterfly House was I thought amazing. The kids liked it for about ten minutes.

Katherine was so cute about holding the butterfly. She loved it. Soon after it was put on her hand she decided it was time to set it free and with a very quick (and a little harsh) flick of the hand she sent our butterfly soaring.

Clara took the whole thing really seriously. She stood still for very long moments wishing and hoping a butterfly would land on her. This butterfly had beautiful blue wings on the inside. It would not open them for the picture.
Jacob refused to hold the butterfly when we had the chance and then we could not catch another one. He was grumpy about it.
After about 10 minutes the kids got tired of the humidity and hot and complained the rest of the time. Bummer. I hate it when that happens.
