Gypsy Day Parade!

I lost my camera for a few weeks and after blaming the children for cleaning it and putting it somewhere weird I found it in my coat pocket. That being said the kids have been cleaning a little odd. Last week after cleaning with the littles I found my pants in the hall closet and a few other strange places. I made Greg snap a few photos on his phone of the parade so I could journal the fun. The first photo is of the chinese dragon. It was so beautiful and walked along the sides so the children could pet it.
Our friend Yixing walked with the Confucius Institute. She is the petite girl holding something red.
Kate loved that they threw candy on the ground. The more I think about it the weirder this tradition is. We spend so much time when they are young teaching them not to eat things off the ground or take food from strangers and take them to a parade where we tell them to eat food off the ground and take it from strangers.

Look! I am in a picture!
