Gingerbread Village

There is almost nothing I love more than sharing our culture and traditions with those from different countries. This week we taught our two Chinese friends how to make gingerbread houses.

They had some pretty intricate details on their small houses. They also made them better than mine and I have been making them for years!

Kate made hers with daddy's help. So cute. There is a marshmallow snowman laying on the roof!
I think Jacob's goal is to put the most candy on it so that when it is time to eat it he gets an enormous amount of sugar.

 Here is the little village!
This is Greg's house. He made cool little snowmen with awesome eyes.
We also taught them how to play pirates dice! CLARA WON!

Here is a cute little picture they took with the kids.
