Biking at Lake Richmond

We took the kids on their first off roading bike trip. They did surprisingly well. Okay, they only lasted 1 mile...but a four year old biking for one mile not on the road is a big task. Jacob did great. We had to encourage him when he fell. I convinced him that he could earn up to 4 cookies depending on how happy he was. He had some moments when he was a 0 cookie boy and some when he was a for cookie kind of boy...but he made it. Earned 4 cookies...ate 2! It was a win win for both of us.

 I jogged with Katherine. It was fun!
