Happy Birthday to My Clara!

Clara turned 7 years old! What an exciting day it has been. I had lots of help baking her cake with my special little helpers.

Yes...I am aware that my kitchen is filthy today...working on that. Here is the final product...with a picture of my awesome helper.

Clara wanted to carve pumpkins for her birthday...yeah for me...easy party.

Jacob actually was willing to put his hand in the pumpkin this year.

Presents were of course a hit. Thank you to our grandparents! They all arrived today.

The perfect dinner in Clara's opinion.

Before bed we got to have a look at our pumpkins in the dark. I am so proud of my kids. They all did an excellent job carving. Sabrina carved her entire pumpkin, Clara gutted hers and drew out what she wanted me to cut. Jacob gutted his and then explained to daddy how to do everything he wanted...in the end he decided it needed a nose and he cut out his own nose. Go Jacob...Kate...She was just busy eating all the candy in the packages from the grandparents.

So the order of the pumpkins went: left to right: Sabrina, Jacob, Greg, Misty, and Clara. 
I made a pumpkin of love.
