Believe it or not my Sweet Baby Cakes is 6 months old! How can that be?She is big, beautiful and happy and I just love her little toes! She has come into our lives and blessed us immensely. Thinking of the life a six month old I am going to share with you a day in the life of a six month old...AKA ways to stay rolly polly for as long as possible.
At six month this 15 pound ball of joy we call Katherine has got a great routine...sleep...eat...sleep...play...eat...sleep...eat...play...eat...sleep...eat...play...eat...play...sleep and then we start all over again. Oh the joy! Guess if we all lived like that we could sport thighs better than Little Katherine!
If Katherine wakes before 7 am she begins her day sleeping with me! She is always happy in the morning.
Morning is always a bit chaotic as we get the girls and Greg ready for school. Today Katherine helped Greg shave and then sat in her bath chair entertaining everyone while the girls got their hair done.
.As soon as everyone is off to school it is time for breakfast. Katherine loves breakfast especially when she gets a sippy cup!
I just love the hundreds of smiles Katherine gives us each day. So sweet! Dressing her is always a pleasure I get to see all the beautiful rolls!
Katherine loves to visit with me as she gets dressed. Today it was a bit of a sad tale thanks to brother pulling on her ears (as pictured above)
After we are fully dressed it is nap time. Wahoo. I love the morning nap. It is her longer nap and sometimes I actually get all the cleaning done...sometimes...
This particular day Katherine had to be awakened early for her 6 month check and shots. She wasn't too excited. When I went to find her she was all wrapped up her her lovey.
Ready to go!
Katherine was less then thrilled with the shots and spent the rest of the morning/afternoon helping me pack up boxes (yes...less then 30 days until we close on the house!)
After her nap we went and picked the kids of up from school. That always brings a smile to her face!
Then we packed some more...thankfully I had a good friend come and help some! Can you see the towers of clothes in the back? It was a bit overwhelming today!
Katherine had a great remainder of the day! She soaked in the tub to ease the pain in her legs.
Threw a monster fit...
and slipped off into a food coma.
Ah! The hard life of a 6 month old...so if you want to stay fat, happy, and cute just follow Katherine's example. She lives a good life!

Life for Baby Cakes has to sweet with her good health and adoring family. So nice you can all enjoy this little one.
So sweet. Makes my want another one...almost. I love the feet picture. Baby feet are my favorite!
