Keweenaw Peninsula & Bond Falls

Our last few days we left the wonderful cabin and visited the Keweenaw Peninsula. It was also beautiful. On our travels to the Peninsula we went to a cool metal sculpture park. It was cool and had lots of fun little sculptures everywhere. Here is an example.
We also visited another beautiful lighthouse. We got to go on a tour of the lighthouse which was neat...except it is still run by the coast guard so we didn't get to go into the light at the top.

Here was a view from our hotel window in Houghton Michigan. Once again...just beautiful...

So here are pictures from our last day on the Keweenaw Peninsula. I lack words to describe the beauty of this place.  We traveled about an hour to the end of  the Penisula on a windy road that was surrounded by trees and were blessed with this sight at the end of the journey.

We found another lighthouse. Sadly the tour for this lighthouse didn't open until the day after we left. It was beautiful and I wish we could have seen inside it. Maybe next time...and their will be a next time.

On our way home we made one last stop to see an amazing Michigan Waterfall...Bond Falls.
